Full stack designer-engineer who happens to not suck at product management.

I ask tough questions, offer practical solutions, and try not to lie with data .

Professional Work

Selected shipped experiences across developer and cloud tooling.

Confluent for VS Code Extension

Senior Product Manager, Confluent - 2023 to Current

  • Working on the Confluent VS Code extension, built it from the ground up to bring the best developer experience and meet developers where they are.
  • Integrated GitHub Copilot by providing Kafka and Confluent context plus specialized tools so the LLM can assist with intent-aware workflows.

Personal Projects

Independent explorations in AI, creative tooling, and media.

Context Lens Released

LLM-assisted recruiting insights

  • Chrome extension available on the Chrome Web Store .
  • Chrome extension activated on LinkedIn profile pages to support HR and hiring managers.
  • Parses profile data (name, experience, recommendations) to generate summaries, highlights, concerns, and screening questions.
  • Optional job description input to calculate a role-fit score.
  • Frontend extension with a backend service on ACI that handles LLM calls, rate limiting, and prompt injection protection.

Built with GitHub Copilot and OpenAI gpt-5 and gpt-5-codex

Color Science Visualization Released

Film color pipelines

  • clrviz.com helps crews compare how different cinema cameras interpret color so footage matches across a project.
  • Visualizes camera color science in chromaticity diagrams trusted by Holleywood directors, cinematographers, and DITs.
  • Supports LUT preview so images can be processed with 3D cube LUTs for before and after review.

Built with OpenAI gpt-5.1-codex-max

Range Cam Pilot Testing

Computer vision video platform for shooting ranges

  • Owned the full stack of a hardware + software system, from Fusion 360 mechanical design and manufacturing through embedded setup, to software engineering.
  • Dual-camera system per lane: one for the target, one for the booth, creating a theme-park-style photo experience with safe, full-context range footage.
  • Custom computer vision (OpenCV/YOLO) detects the target per lane, auto-crops, and adjusts zoom, exposure, and other parameters based on conditions.
  • End-to-end pipeline: range staff control, recording, customer preview, Stripe payment, and video delivery via custom code.

Scaffolded with OpenAI OpenAI gpt-5.0, developed with OpenAI gpt-5.0-codex and OpenAI gpt-5.1-codex-max, with memory leak and performance fixes investigated with Anthropic claude-opus-4.5.

Alarm Sense In Development

Adaptive iOS alarm experience

  • Smart iOS alarm that adjusts wake times based on user-defined conditions like weather, market events, and daily constraints.
  • Users set earliest/latest wake windows plus conditional rules (sunny run mornings, market open triggers, or sleep-in defaults).
  • Uses AlarmKit, ActivityKit, and background refresh tasks with backend condition checks and push notifications for reliable rescheduling.

Interface prototyped with Figma Make. Built with OpenAI gpt-5.2-codex

In my personal time, I design and model in Fusion 360, operate a 4-axis CNC machining center, lathe, and shaper in my garage shop, and on the additive manufacturing side, I prototype with FDM & SLA printers, and make end-use parts with Formlabs Fuse 1 / Sift 1 selective laser sintering system in my home office.

I can talk about UX design, cloud architecture, and real-time data streaming, but I can also spend hours discussing generative design, design-for-manufacturing, volumetric lattices, and holding sub-thou tolerances and micron-level precision.
